Quick little book worth every penny. One sentence made me look up and say, "Well, I just got my money's worth from this!" I'll let you read the book yourself in case your sentence is different from my sentence.Four not five because it's not, for me, a life-changing book; four not three because it is an excellent solution to exactly what it says it is. Some of these mistakes may not apply to you, particularly if you are planning to sell your own cards, rather than writing for a greeting card company.
One sentence. That's all it takes. I found the sentence that mattered to me. You probably will, too.

7 Mistakes Greeting Card Writers Make edition by Kate Harper Reference eBooks Reviews
This is a good insider's view on writing greeting cards and is a good start for beginners. Nothing in depth, but good advice.
I don't plan to try and write greeting cards to make a living. If I did, I would be well served following the author's advice. Not lots of flowery words here, just a clear description of what makes a good greeting card.
This helpful e-book has a lot of good suggests which all point to one key idea. "Work at it everyday and in everyway and you will find success!" The message comes from a person who speaks from their own experience and has found success. She is a good role model.
The moment I saw this book I had to have it.
As a professional business copy writer I am always on the look-out for ways to improve my ability to communicate. The book is all good.
It's short and to the point, but you can see immediately the wisdom Kate puts into each page. If you want to write greeting cards, this is a must have. Actually, in my opinion, if you want to write anything in a manner which truly connects with your reader, you can benefit with this book. It's a winner.
This is great start-to-finish info. In my case, I already have a job with a company that sends me assignments. Some of the book didn't apply to me for that reason, but there was still good stuff to be learned. I would definitely recommend it to someone starting out or considering writing greeting card copy.
This book is like a just-deployed air bag! It really wakes you up and could possibly save your life ;)
It provides great tips and insights into how to "think" like a better writer for the card market, and is written in such a way that it walks its own talk. Kate's generosity in sharing her experience and perspectives into the card industry are phenomenal - and I can't imagine anyone reading this book without learning something of pivotal value.
I sure wish I'd read it 40 years ago!
I'm glad I was able to read this little gem. It was short, thought provoking, and straight to the point. It will be a great start to begin the process of writing greeting cards. The author does a great job at providing a fresh perspective on the not so obvious mistakes that can be made when writing greeting cards. The author also gives you examples of words, phrase, and ideas that you might not have thought of on your own. Great memory jogger and a great starting point for new Greeting Card writers. She's also included several links at the end of the book that you can connect to and obtain submission information from various greeting card companies. Worth the quick read.
